So, believe it or not, the holidays are quickly approaching. And, whether or not you are packed up and recuperated from Halloween and other fall festivities; the over commercialized entourage of winter holidays are here. Forget time to breathe or collect your bearings... it's time to tear down your classroom, box away your fall décor and jumpstart winter! Yes, I said it and, to be PC (and I'm perfectly fine with this BTW!) DON'T FORGET TO BE CONSIDERATE OF ALL OF YOUR FAMILIES! So, if you are intending on celebrating in the classroom, please take into account the cultural differences and preferences in your room. Don't forget that this does not only apply to your room décor but also, the materials that you choose to provide as supplemental activities, learning center materials, books and any family correspondence in regards to newsletters, party invitations, and school functions.
